My name is Paolo. I was born and raised in Barry, Vale of Glamorgan. I have been fascinated by flowers ever since I was ten years old and feel very lucky that I am able to work with them. I love the buzz of creating dreams and magical settings within a world where everything’s possible and the words “can’t do” are never uttered!

I run an independent flower design service based in the Vale of Glamorgan where I have a studio & workshop. Growing up in the Vale I’ve always loved flowers, spending many hazy days roaming the Welsh countryside & playing in the midst of stunning nature all around me! I was lucky enough to study floristry & design at Swansea, focusing on floristry, textiles, printmaking and painting. I have always adored fashion, art and design.

I found my calling when I delved into floristry & became hooked! I went on to become a City and Guilds qualified florist and have worked at the prestigious Covent Garden Cardiff. I’m always learning & love to keep my eye on the most inspirational trends in the flower world. When I’m not knee deep in blooms I enjoy rifling thru’ vintage clothes stores and antique shops- foraging for that unique gem of an outfit and a piece of vintage furniture!

I’ve worked in floristry for almost ten years now. My training has given me a commitment to the highest level of customer service and I strive to create distinctive designs that enhance nature’s beauty.
